one of my greatest anxieties in life is that i will have to pee during a movie at the theatre. because much as in life, there is no pause button at the megaplex.
ok i don’t know what that means, i am mostly drunk on cheap red right now. still though, i’ll be bummed if i have to pee during the movie.
Avatar was pretty much what i expected it to be: a tried-and-true story that’s been done a million times, and mind-blowingly beautiful CGI (coming from someone who loathes that medium). that said, i was thoroughly entertained, and won’t lie, i shed a tear- if only because the earth-loving themes in the movie are pretty much exactly what i believe in. MY WEEKEND MOVIE REVIEWS
Invictus made me want to stand up and cheer/slow clap/slow motion embrace someone etc etc it was tres clint eastwood. but i think that matt damon is one of my favourite actors of all time and i am not even joking. he doesn’t seem to have a lot of ego onscreen- in that he’s not afraid to have a small part, or one that doesn’t require him to gnash his teeth all over the scenery. and technically he...
